Guessing Game #6

Mar

The final Guessing Game! This New York Times bestselling historical romance author started her career writing for a publisher that I once wrote for. She’s an absolutely lovely, delightful person who I’ve met several times because at RWA literacy booksignings, which are arranged alphabetically, she is always seated quite near to me. She lives in the South, and while she has been repeatedly nominated for a Rita, she’s never won one. Be the first to guess her name and win two of her books!

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
