The Good: Sasha White is celebrating the one-year anniversary of her website with contests, chats, and other special events including the launch of a series of interviews on her site. I was lucky enough to be invited to be her first interviewee, so if you’d like to check it out, read the interview here !
The Bad: I’m not allowed to talk about it till tomorrow. Since I’m planning to throw myself off a bridge now, you’ll have to get the scoop from someone else.
The Ugly: I guess that would be me after I go splat.
Posted by Suzanne McMinn | PermalinkMarch! I love March! Spring is coming! I can’t wait for flowers!!!
I’m sick. I hate being sick. Immediately upon realizing I was sick last night, I flopped down on the couch because I’m a wuss. My daughter brought me magazines, a glass of water, Ibuprofin, and a blanket. Then she yelled at me when I asked for more water because she was BUSY in the kitchen. She loves to Swiffer, so first thing she Swiffered the floor. (She Swiffers at any opportunity.) Then she did the dishes. This must have been fun because she yelled from the kitchen, “There aren’t enough dirty dishes!” Yes, that’s what I’m always thinking….
March madness contest details! I must be feverish since I’m going to give away copies of a book that’s still for sale new. I never do that because I HAVE TO FEED MY CHILDREN. But once a week all month I’m going to give away an autographed copy of Her Man to Remember. Plus I’ll have spontaneous giveaways throughout the month to give away a “PAX Mug” from my new, fully loaded, and now open shop . Is that fun or what? How to enter to win this week’s autographed copy of Her Man to Remember: Leave comments! Winners will be selected randomly from commenters.
How to win the “PAX Mug” — watch for a spontaneous question in my blog this week! Be here when it happens, and you’ll have a chance to win.
And now, since we’re on the subject of spring and cleaning, did you know that if you put the kitty litter box outside, the dogs will clean it? Aren’t you glad I told you that? :hehe:

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
