Apparently it’s still pretty rough out there in Okahoma where they fired a cannon this weekend celebrating the Southern Star monument to my Civil War hero great-great-grandfather George Woodall.

I’ve never seen people face so many obstacles to get laid–guns, zombies, ninjas, missing condoms…. I bet they’re EXHAUSTED today! (But if you want to play with them, they’re still there!) Thank you so much for playing!
There will be another PAX t-shirt giveaway tomorrow!!
Today: a PAX mug is up for grabs!! What 3 things did I do yesterday? Ten choices!
*Started writing and forgot to pick up my daughter from horseback riding lessons.
*Washed the dog and tripped in a hole while chasing him down.
*Picked a Wal-Mart smilie sticker off my car that my 14-year-old stuck on there.
*Wrote 20 pages.
*Cleaned up cat vomit from my bedroom floor.
*Picked a Wal-Mart smilie sticker off my car that my 9-year-old stuck on there.
*Drag-raced my neighbor from the school car line to home.
*Wrote 10 pages.
*Checked the mail in my t-shirt and underwear and got caught by my neighbor.
*Lost my keys and found them in my daughter’s closet.
Be the first one to correctly pick the 3 things I really did yesterday and win a PAX mug!! Play once just for fun, or play up to three times making different selections in different comments. EVERY SINGLE PERSON who also makes the correct guess after the PAX mug winner will receive their choice of an autographed book from my backlist! So what 3 things do YOU think I did yesterday?

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
