The animal population is ever expanding here on the farm. Latest addition–Dookie! (Pictured here with my daughter and one of our new kittens, Sugar–yes, this is Sugar #2, for those of you who remember our first Sugar.) A ten-year-old shih tsu adopted from a friend. He is old enough to be calm and potty-trained. He came with his own doggy bed but he likes my daughter’s bed better! He has come to a truce with the cats…. Finally! Though he did chase Buttercup all the way around the farmhouse and onto the chicken coop the other day…..
I’m sorry I’m late posting the winner! My book is due TODAY! I’m feeling slightly CRAZY!!! I’m still working on it but will be emailing it to make my deadline later this afternoon. Wish me luck! I’ll be able to get back to daily blogging once the book is out the door, I promise!
For now, the winner of last weekend’s Free Book Friday is–Page! Email me with your autographed pic from my contemporary backlist!

My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
