Look What We Found!

More kittens!!!!!!!!

After Farm Cat Callie’s second litter, and keeping almost all of the kittens ourselves, and having Callie and nine babies spayed/neutered, I thought we were all through with kittens. But wait! There’s more! We found Barn Cat Fuzzball across the road hiding under the seat of an old truck with five kittens.

Fuzzball escaped my spay/neuter blitz by hiding out in the woods and barns. What to do?? We brought her and her five kittens–all black–into the farmhouse. We kept them in a laundry basket at first, but that didn’t suit Fuzzball.

She keeps close guard as she hides them behind the water heater.

So far, we’ve got homes for three of the kittens when they’re ready to leave Da Fuzz, but we’ve got two more available! Any takers?

Before Fuzzball escapes the farmhouse, we’re getting her fixed….. :whip:

Meanwhile, it’s fun having kittens again, I have to admit.
:shimmy: Okay, so who wants one??

(Psst–come back tomorrow for the first in a new round of Free Book Fridays giving away one of the new May Silhouette Romantic Suspense releases, each week, all month!)

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
