Does she look like she’s ready to calm down any minute now?

I got a new contract for two more Silhouette Romantic Suspenses! :sheepjump:

Found out on Friday. Went to pick up 14 from football practice.

Me: “I sold two more books.”

14: “Okay.”

Me: “It’s a big deal. I’m excited.”

14: “You’ve sold a lot of books.”

Me: “I’m famous!”

14: “How come we’re not rich if you’re famous?”

Me: “Don’t get picky.”

Free Book Friday: My Favorite Excuse

Jun

Desdemona.

We gave away the other four kittens, so she has no friends. Her mama is busy hunting, and my other 496 cats find her far too immature for their sophisticated tastes.

So that makes me her new best friend.

She’s here.

She’s there.

She’s everywhere!

I’m supposed to WORK LIKE THIS?

She is awful cute, though, isn’t she? What’s your favorite excuse for not doing whatever you should be doing right now? Drop a comment, and a random commenter will be chosen on Monday to receive another one of the June Silhouette Romantic Suspense releases–A Serial Affair by Natalie Dunbar!

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
