I’m thinking bars on the windows, what about you?
The block for the walkout basement was finished this weekend. Next up, framing. I can’t wait to see! I want Extreme Home Makeover. I want Ty Pennington out here and I want the house finished in a week! I’d even give him two weeks, I’m that nice. I just need a good hardship story to get him out here. I know, ladybugs! They’re coming… It’s that time of year. And if ladybugs aren’t a hardship, I don’t know what is.
Okay, I’m gonna close my eyes and wish real hard…… Tell me when Ty shows up.
Till he does, check out this 4-star review of A Hero’s Redemption at Cataromance. And this lovely post from romance writer Kaye Manro. People are being so nice to me lately. Am I gonna die and no one’s told me? Could you at least tell Ty?????
(This week’s Free Book Friday winner: #27, Cheryl S! Email me!)
P.S. I’m teaching my 12 Easy Steps to Breaking In workshop this month for Charter Oak Romance Writers. Class starts today and it’s not too late to sign up, go here! For a peek at all my upcoming classes, check out the sidebar on my News page. If you’re with a writers organization and are interested in having me teach a workshop for your group, I’m working on my 2009 schedule now–email me!

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
