T Minus 10 Seconds

Official winter is still a month away, but I’m already missing our gorgeous fall color here. The leaves are nearly gone, revealing the bare branches that will soon be draped in snow, dripping with ice. The first ladybug has peeked into the farmhouse and the pipes are strategizing the most inconvenient dates to freeze. (They like to do that when company’s coming!) After a brief warm-up this week, the temperatures are dipping again. Winter is preparing to launch— And there are more than changes in the weather. I have some big changes coming up on my blog. Just exactly what….. I’d tell you, but then I’d have to kill you. Stay tuned!!

Anyone going Christmas shopping this weekend? Or today, Black Friday? Not me! And you don’t have to, either, if you’d like to tuck away an autographed copy of my October release, A Hero’s Redemption, in somebody’s stocking! Let me know if you want to be in the running! Drawing Monday!

My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
