And so easy! I was thinking, could be made like the hot pockets and frozen for snacking purposes...or make a small square, lay the filling in and then bring the edges up to make little pouches, or what do you think of mixing the filling into the dough itself and then baking, like you do with your pepperoni rolls? Do you think it would work? All I know is this was an instant hint (as were the hot pockets btw), I am now off to look at the cornmeal yeast bread recipe and the beans for this weekend. I know what I am going to be making folks for Christmas this year :-) This is so GOOD! And so easy! Since a friend introduced me to this site, I have to admit that I have become a baking fiend LOL The family is loving it (so am I) but it isn't doing the diet much good! So who needs to be skinny anyways, let the baking continue! I used raw sugar on the top after brushing butter all over it before the final rise. That sugar looks like crystals just sparkling all over with cinnamon sprinkled over it too. Jessica already pulled a lattice off of it...that spoiled gal! She said it is amazing. I'm so happy to find this and make it for my baby girl while she is home for Christmas Thanks Suzanne for putting this recipe up for me to find.
