But was curious why the women didn't put the turtle on the other side of the road instead of her car. Do you think she was going to eat it? I know turtle can be a meal for some rural folks(turtle soup,etc.). If you do move a turtle from the road you need to leave it in that area and in the direction it was going otherwise it will just turn around. I like your stories. Farming is a labor of love and if you truly love it it isn't work. Take time to have a moment for you.
