I love love your blog! When I want to be cheered up I come and read the animal stories. I just found you about a month ago and little by little I’m reading everything. A long long time ago I had over 60 sheep, pigs, calves,dogs, etc. on a farm in Wisconsin. I still have happy memories about the animals but I am not a farmer. I made pets out of all of them! Thanks for the stories and I don’t care for chickens but I really really like yours. Except for that mean one! Keep up the fantastic writing and I’ll keep telling people about your blog.

I just discovered this blog yesterday and I love it! You are such a great writer! We moved to our small farm just last fall and haven’t had time to do much with it. We both work off the farm, full time, so it’s difficult, but we’ll get there! Your stories are such an inspiration! I just love that Coco and want a Great Pyr myself!!

I found my way to your blog for the first time today and I enjoyed every moment. We have an 8 month old pup that is 1/2 Bernese Mountain and 1/2 Great Pyrenees and he is such a love and joy but he is in love with our chickens (no goats, sorry.) Well maybe I should be more truthful he is in love with the little yum yum’s that the chickens leave. He is like Hansel following a trail but they arnt gum drops! , so I really enjoyed the Coco posts. Ill be back.

Hi Suzanne, I’ve been reading your blog for two and 1/2 years now and I read it every morning. You have inspired me to create a blog (still in infancy stages) and hope that folks will stop by and make comments.
I am going to have posts about my husband’s business (granite, marble, etc.), the funny things my eight year old says, recipes, giveaways, my very energetic jack russell terrier Max, and random items.

ok so two surprises in one day. I read your 52 coming out post first then back tracked since I have been sick with the stomach flu and couldn’t come to the computer (you know I was near death). Now, the kids names. Will wonders never cease?

I had to laugh when I read the earlier comment about feeling like you are a friend. I will tell my husband something from your blog and start by saying “My friend in WV did this or said that…” He always says. “She’s not your friend. She’s never even met you.” But I do think of you as a friend.

Your blog name pulled me in some time ago and I’ve been reading ever since. We moved to a farm when I was 14 and what an experience that was for a city kid.

I enjoy reading your accomplishments as you tackle each new experience and sometimes I just have to laugh (and I mean that in the kindest of ways!)
