How adorable! We never kept sheep ourselves, but had neighbours and friends around who did. I loved lambing season as I was able to go with my dad. He "assisted" with difficult deliveries - he was very gentle and had long skinny hands - and I remember him saying "just like a jigsaw puzzle, get the right little leg connected to the right little lambikins". My favourite part of those days was bottle feeding some little waif that couldn't or wouldn't nurse. Boy, if I could travel back in time! Since I can't, I'm sure relieved to know your Annabelle posts are going to be a great substitute. PS: My Dad had an Annabelle when I was growing up ... an Angora rabbit. Oh My Gosh! How adorable!
