My cats are on the table only when there isnt food there… and they know the difference… they are so dand smart. When there is food there we purposely have an extra chair at the table for my little black cat to join us for dinner…. she loves Pasta and waits patiently to be “served” her noodles…..

Oh, heck, there’s usually a cat on my table AND one up on the counter. Occasionally, the Russian Blue we rescued sits in the sink (they are fascinated by water).

I’m not dead, yet. ;-)

Hi Suzanne,
No cats on table, but everywhere else. Let me see, Lord Albert in his recline, Arnold the Stray on a furnace vent, Henry the Seventh, on my shoulder, and last but not lest, Lady Herriot on my lap. Lord Albert is the only one that is not a stray. Lady Herriot is named after James Herriot, the vet. I am a widow and love my cats. They keep me company on the coldest night or warmest day.

Oh yes, there is a cat on my table from time to time also. She likes to look out at the birds and “bark” at them. You can almost see her drooling.

I am always battling my cat to keep him off my table but he weigh 16 ibs and is really cute I feel you pain

What is in my kitchen?
1. The cat, although not on the table, just underfoot. I would have no problem with him on the table although DH would have a stroke.
2. My stack of cast iron dutch ovens in the chimney corner and collection of all sizes cast iron skillets.
3. My big old flower pot (with a liner) next to the stove for most used utensils.
4. Budding Christmas cactus on the table.
5. Old spice tins lining the window sill.
6. Candles on the counter.
7. And my collection of copper pots on the wall.
All these and the presence of DH make my kitchen the heart of our home.

Not only is there a cat on my table…now the cat food is on the table (well, 3 cat foods)…due to the fact that we just took possession of a friend’s dog…who loves cat food!

I have four cats, plus our neighbor’s cat…..(also have three dogs)….Molly and Blossom love to watch us from the kitchen table….. and Cooper and Toby join their sisters on the dining room table……from there they can keep an eye on everything…..
Never thought I would ever allow cats on tables but these last few years, it has become natural to our family of furries….and I love seeing them there……….

Will now put a candle in my kitche window…..!!

Thanks for the pepperoni recipe, will try it…..my husband loves them, just picked up the last few from a local yard sale…..
That is what got me to the web to try and find recipe to make my own….and came upon your site…….

I love Lazy Susan’s and so did my mother (on the kitchen table) and I love a glass picture of water on the dining room table. I like a stone vase of my kitchen tools, like spatulas, wooden spoons, etc. and my cannisters and I like a large white fruit bowl I have on the kitchen counter…
