I can completely relate. Our Maggie Moo is about 110 lbs now - with another 20 or so pounds to go.

Flying her butt to Korea was not cheap or easy!

The only vet here is at an air base, called Osan. They come out to our base only twice a month...which reminds me, I need to haul her in the next time to get her shots, too.

But you should see the looks she gets from the locals. They've never seen a big dog before. It's like watching those old Godzilla movies where they scream, point then decide to run away.

Much love from an overseas Army wife,
Jennifer

Oh, I think I want one of Coco's future offspring. We had a Pyr long ago, adopted as grown dog that had been abused by a former owner. He was hand-shy and while we got him over that in time, he was also a barker, which drove my elderly neighbors crazy. So we had to give him away to a family with a farm.

Coco is such a good natured dog. I have a chihuahua that looks like a baby deer. He is so sweet too. I don't think I could handle a big dog in the car unless he would sit quietly on my lap. Have a good day!

Our former pet was a 200 pound Mastiff. That was great when she could get in by herself. As she aged and gained her girth, it often involved us getting under-behind and giving her a little boost. I have a smaller dog now, but I know how that is.

I'm very lucky in that I get my vet to check the dogs and give them their shots when he's here to check on the sheep! Saves hauling the dogs and the price of an office visit...
