Last summer I was hanging out on the padio with my dog and cat when a hawk swooped down aiming for my cat. She made a dash to hide behind some pallets that we had up against the garage. Meanwhile the hawk landed in the nearest tree and watched her intently while he planned his supper. I grabbed her and did my best to cover her and put her back out side.
