But as all good things must, this is my last year - unless #2 doesn't get his work finished. They do grow up awfully fast, don't they? Is this an east coast thing? I live in Arizona and my kids started school on August 10th they postponed the first day of school. They wanted to start it on the 5th. I hate that school starts in the middle of summer. When I was a kid we never started until after Labor Day. We are so pressed for time in the summer to do something as a family when school starts so quickly. I was reading everyones comments and I see everyones kids just started school. The last few years I got the pics of the first day by hiding behind the barn or big tree or even once was banished to the inside of the house!!
