Help Me?

Oct
20

Please vote for me to be the SAM-e “good mood” blogger–it’s a paying gig! I need it!

Go here and vote! You can vote once per day per IP address. The “talent search” voting ends November 6 and will determine who makes it to the second round where a final winner will be chosen by SAM-e. The winner lands a job writing for SAM-e about keeping a positive outlook and inspiring others to find their good mood. (I can do that!) The talent search vote started October 2. I just found out about it, so I’m late and behind. In order to have a chance, I will need hundreds (and hundreds) of votes every day. Which sounds impossible. I’m a dreamer. Please help me? I want this job!

Mean Rooster, pacing the fenceline of his domain.

(He doesn’t have anything else to do. He’s already slain all the dragons and made all the damsels cry.)

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
