It’s here, it’s here: Please vote for me!

Suzanne, must we endure this again?!
It’s that time again! The second (final) round of the SAM-e contest! This is no ordinary contest. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, please read here lest I drive my regular readers mad, simply mad, by repeating it: Read here.
Against all odds and only because YOU MADE IT HAPPEN, I was at the top of the first round contestants for this job that would mean so much to my family. You can see the first round final tally here.
I am grateful beyond belief. You can read how grateful I am here, but you don’t have to because I’m going to tell you again and Again and AGAIN until you are sick of it. THANK YOU!
From today (November 17) to December 7, you can vote again. The final decision will be made beyond the vote this time–by the company. However, your vote COUNTS. The company wants to see it. Please bring it? This round, including the Top 20 contestants from the first round, required the submission of a 90-second video plus an essay. I have the video here.
I hope you enjoy it! (Those are my beloved chickens and ducks! That’s Boomer barking! Those are my animals! CLOVER. And, yeah, that is ME. I made this video for YOU.)
Thank you!!!!!!! (Don’t be making me cry again!)
And!!!!!
I have something for YOU! I can’t tell you the details today, but starting tomorrow and through Thanksgiving, I have a contest for YOU to win something right here! Come back tomorrow for all the details and to enter enter enter because there will be multiple winners! (The prizes were DONATED. It is AMAZING.)
Remember you can vote every day!
Here’s the link again: Please vote for me!

The other ducks I used to have on the pond would run in the other direction when I’d walk out there. These ducks run toward me. They’re always hoping for some cracked corn!

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
