ME TOO! (the part about your dad being a preacher) We lived in a very rural area and he preached at 2 churches. While he preached at one the other would have Sunday School so I never got to go to Sunday School but got 2 church services every Sunday morning, one Sunday night and prayer meeting on Wed. evening. I think I’ve been to at least as many church services as you. :-)

I know this is late to be posting something for Thanksgiving Day comments but it’s the first few minutes I’ve had for quiet and alone-time. Hubby is in bed asleep, daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter and grandson are home now. Both cats are snoozing on the couch and I’m not far from bedtime, either. But I wanted to thank you personally, Suzanne, for all you do for US, your ‘other family’. You brighten our days, you make us cry sometimes, you teach us new things to do and aspire to, you give us recipes and step-by-step pictorial instructions….but most of all, you share your life with us. You are a fine person….quality, as my grandmother would have said. It shows in everything you do and every word you speak to us. Thank you, dear….thank you truly.

Suzanne–I used your recipes for the dressing, cranberry sauce and the pie crust they we all wonderful. I have been making pies for over 50 years, and this is the best crust I every made.

Thank you so much for being a part of our Thanksgiving! I made your scalloped corn and it was wonderful. The only problem was that when we spooned to the bottom, it was watery. I suspect I didn’t add enough bread crumbs! I didn’t measure – just made what looked like enough. But oh, so flavorful!! Thanks.

And again – Happy Thanksgiving to you and all your varieties of staff for making every day start out delightful.

Loved the story…too funny. And the video was awesome,especially Poco and the giant puppy playing.I also think that your cat is also camera shy. I sure would love to spend my day with all the animals. Happy Thanksgiving to all of my south of the border neighbours.
