Alcohol is very drying to the skin. Why couldn't you make "Vanilla Bean Brown Sugar" by placing a vanilla bean in a closed container of brown sugar for a few days. Then you could make your vanilla-scented Brown Sugar scrub without adding any alcohol. Just a suggestion!
