Christmas Angel

Dec
25

She emerges from her dressing stall with her assistant, ready for her annual festive tableau.

Clover: “I thought I was ready for a cookie.”

No, you didn’t. You know it’s time for your annual festive tableau! And your holiday address!

Don’t give me that look, Clover.

Get back here!

Clover?

CLOVER!

Clover: “What?”

This is your festive tableau! You know it’s time to make your holiday address! Everyone is waiting to hear from you. You’re all dressed up like an angel. Focus, Clover! You know what that means!

Clover: “Oh….. Well, of course, Woman.”

“It means I’m the good one!”

Merry Christmas from Sassafras Farm!

Merry Christmas to you at Sassafras farm! Clover is the cutest angel I ever saw. The photo sequence makes me feel like I’m right there on the farm with you and All of us are when you so generously share all of your animals antics. Love the pic of clover looking at the camera as she’s happily eating hay Gracie :sheep:

My husband looked at Clover all dressed up and said, “That woman doesn’t have enough to do!” But then he redeemed himself by looking at the last photo and saying, “You can tell by that photo that Clover really loves her.” He pretends to be tough but he’s a big softie. Love your Clover photos!

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
