Nursery Rhyme for Cows

BP will you bellow,
will you bellow for a fellow?
Are you too sexy for your udder,
or will you be a mother?
Are you trotting hot for love,
or sending out a dove?
Do you want a pickle,
or are you feeling fickle?
BP will you bellow,
or are you feeling mellow?

BP will you bellow, will you bellow for a fellow?

Mayhap I’m too immersed in my cow’s personal life.

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
