Finally! You get to meet Pocahontas! We went all the way to Ohio yesterday to get her. I’d tell you about the trip mile marker by mile marker, but I bet that’s not what you’re here for.
You want to see Pocahontas.
And here she is!

Wait. Wrong photo.
Here she is!

CLOVER! (Just between you and me, I think she’s a little jealous of all the attention Pocahontas has been getting lately.)
And now, Pocahontas!

Sheesh, you’d think I could take better photos than that.
Let me try again.
Pocahontas is six months old and almost as big as she’s going to get. She is a sweet, lovable, absolutely adorable….

….miniature donkey!

YOU KNOW I NEEDED ONE!

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....

I don’t feel very silly though, I was nicely entertained while I searched and tried to figure it out.
Your actual Pocahontas is very cute Suzanne! We’ll all watch for more pictures of her and how the other critters react to her… and she to them too!

I’m sure there’s a breeder somewhere near West Virginia.

Be prepared for the braying, though. It sounds pretty eerie on an otherwise quiet night, to suddenly hear what sounds like an old woman moaning. Loudly.
