I went skiing in Banff back in March. Still paying for that! Nothing booked, having to save my money. Might tour the UK staying with friends… they don’t know this yet!

We never take a vacation but this November we are taking our first trip to Disney World!!!!!! We are so excited. It will be Lillianna’s first trip there. She will be 8 by then.
Rich and I were there 11 years ago on our honeymoon. We can’t wait!!:thumbsup:

Anna, that sounds like a marvelous vacation! I’m jealous!

Amy, I love Estes park. It’s only about 45 minutes from us, but I never get up there as often as I’d like.

Sadly, our vacation plans consist of Reno, and that’s it. That whole starting a new business thing, totally takes away any vacation fund we might have thought of.

I just got back from holiday. :hyper:

We visited relatives, visited friends, shopped in London, stayed in a caravan, visited seaside towns and villages, visited historic sites and watched Cricket.

Zip. Zero. Zilch. Nada. I haven’t been on vacation for almost 3 years. Hubby is self-employed and he has been hopping for the last 3 years, getting away for any solid time is impossible. Also, even we can get the money together, we will be doing the kitchen remodel. My folks have a pool and my kids are just thrilled if they can swim everyday, that’s enough for them.

Reno! I’m going to Reno in July to live it up at the RWA National conference.

Oooh, I’m very excited about our vacation next month. :bananadance: We’re driving out west. Stopping at Mt. Rushmore overnight, then heading on to Yellowstone for a week. My husband and son have been perusing video clips of geysers all week, and that little boy is uber-excited. Then again, so are my daughter and I.

On the drive back, we’re stopping by our property in Wyoming, just to look at it and dream. The drive’s gonna be horrendous, but I’m hoping to see lots of parts of the country that I’ve never seen before. :hyper:

And I’m taking lots of pictures.

The one I’ve planned is four days in Reno, since I’m going there for the RWA signing. :thumbsup:

I’m hoping to take a few days and go to a Shakespearean festival that’s about a four-hour drive away. This particular one does spectacular performances of the plays each summer. I’ll probably go in August.
