Kitten, thinking…..

It’s RWA week! Romance Writers of America national conference, held this year in Dallas. If you’re near the area, please drop by the huge charity booksigning with over 500 authors on Wednesday evening, 5:30-8:30 pm, at the Dallas Hyatt Regency Hotel. Be sure to tell me hello! I’ll be there signing Secrets Rising. I’m leaving for Texas tomorrow and will be blogging from RWA all week with photos from my celebrity author stalking adventures! Don’t miss it! I’ll be bringing back books and other goodies from the conference to give away, too.

For now, back to packing….. :elephant:

As long as you’re out celebrity stalking, don’t forget to turn the camera toward yourself.

Have a great time Suzanne. I’d love to go to a RWA event someday if they ever have one closer to good old WV. Make sure you give us plenty on the skinny about whats going on and whats coming out in the near future. One question though, if someone would want an autographed copy of one of your books but couldn’t get to an event like that, is there another way to get one?

Alice, I’ll get somebody to take a picture of me, I’m sure….

LeAnne, I give away signed books on my blog sometimes! Oh–by the way, I think the Romantic Times Booklovers Convention is in Pittsburgh in April 2008. (Much more reader-oriented than RWA conferences.)

Have a good time at the RWA convention. I can’t wait to hear and see what’s going on there.

The event in Pittsburg next year looks interesting.

Thanks for the info about Pittsburgh. Hey if Nora is there at the convention are you going to try to get a pic with her or of her? I know you said she was one of your favorite authors. Have a great time.

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
