Beautiful colors on those leaves! It just turned a little cooler here in Georgia… I am looking forward to seeing some leaf turning here!

What a great picture. Kids just love to jump into the leaves …. and it seems to have been that way forever………. :)

It does. I was tempted myself on Saturday when we filled – count ‘em, 27 – bags of leaves from the front yard alone!!

My whole family played in the leaves—-adults, too.
Of course, we had to rake them again.

If I got down to roll in the leaves, I’d be there forever ’cause I couldn’t get back up. It looks like fun though. The cake from the previous post looks delish. Have a great evening and Hugs to all.

Oh yeah. That’s one reason I’ve always liked autumn–the crunchy, fragrant world of dry leaves. Too bad we don’t have piles of leaves around here the way we did in my childhood. Now they just get sucked up with gigantic leaf vacuum cleaners.:talktothehand:

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
