Six Planes, Seven Nights

Aug

 I’M BACK!!!!! With goodies!!!!!

For writers, win the 300-plus page handout book and the official RWA 2005 conference totebag and pen. Throw in some rubber chicken and it’s JUST LIKE YOU WERE THERE!!

For readers, win a pack of giveaway books from the conference plus a chocolate Rita statue! Includes “Best First Book” Rita-winning novel Time Off for Good Behavior by Lani Diane Rich, I’m Watching You by “Best Romantic Suspense” Rita winner Karen Rose (she won for the book Have You Seen Her?), and Ain’t She Sweet? by Saturday luncheon speaker Susan Elizabeth Phillips. Free books without driving to Reno and standing in line! Plus chocolate!!!!!

To enter, post here–just tell me if you’re interested in the readers’ drawing or the writers’ drawing….or both! Winners will be announced tomorrow!

Minus the two days of travelling to Reno on three different planes and the two days of travelling home on three more planes….it was fabulous!!! Today, I’m unpacking and organizing, and starting tomorrow I’ll post recaps and fun photos!!

For now, don’t miss the third installment of my eHarlequin online PAX read — Hot Target! (Click on the green “read” button at the bottom and scroll down to Hot Target.)

I’m so glad to be home!!! I was ready to kiss my bed. And I missed you all. How are you????

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
