Think Tank

May

So my mom gave me this book called Do Cats Think? The book includes this commentary on the neutered cat. “Cats are born hunters. They have better sight, smell, and hearing than any other hunting animal. They are the natural enemies of all rodents. Properly neutered cats, well fed, are big and heavy enough to handle the biggest and toughest rat that comes along. No longer troubled by sex, they will do their job and love it, and be the best and most interesting friends and companions you can ever find.”

Would this work for men, too?

Well that’s an inconvenient point. :? ??: How about we just do it to presidents so they concentrate long enough to run the world right?

    That’s what I like about you Suzanne . . . you’re such a dreamer.
But if you’re gonna dream, you might as well dream big.

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
