Morgan, with boyfriend Justin, for her 19th birthday dinner here this weekend.

This was their homemade Red Lobster knock-off meal.

She had brownies for her “cake” because she doesn’t like cake. OR PIE. We don’t know where she came from….

And then she had to torment the cat.

Morgan: “He’s loved me since I was three!” Or something….
IMG_4281
Yes, we’ve actually had Buttercup since Morgan was three. He’s made a lot of progress with their relationship!

He now allows her to actually hold him without spitting and hissing the entire time!

I think that’s just because he’s too old to properly protest now….

Looks like a fun night! Don’t see the fried broccoli? So glad your posting so often!

They had the fried peppers and broccoli for an appetizer, so that wasn’t on their main meal plate, which is what is pictured.

I actually think your dinner looks better than what we have seen at Red Lobster. It looks fabulous!

SO, did she enjoy her “homemade meal” as I know she prefers store bought food(shudders)at times… LOL I bet yours tasted SO much better than Red Lobster. Besides it was made with “MOMMY LOVE” and that’s the very best!

    Yes, she liked it!

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
