Anyway, this title made me laugh because where I am, in Australia, it’s 41 degrees celsius today! That’s 106 fahrenheit! So I’m loving all the snow pics of late.

It wasn’t quite 41 yesterday, but we had blizzards all day. The good thing? Didn’t stick to the roads or the car…..just the trees, making it look like a winter wonderland!

Well….according to the weather man…the upper air moisture is colder or warmer or ?? and then it fills up and gets heavy and it falls thru the colder or warmer or…something?? and then if the temperature between the upper and the lower something is just at the right temperture..??..then it doesn’t matter if it’s 50 degrees or -0 on the surface…….
This confusion makes them sick and winter and spring collide and Mother Nature, Jack Frost and Old Man Winter “throw up” that white stuff all over your road….LOL

Oh my….B.Ruth should be a weatherwoman!!! I’d watch every night just to hear the explanation for what is occuring in the weather! Sounds like something I would come up with to explain weather to my granddaughter…funny!
Winter will soon be just a memory, Suzanne. A vaguely haunting memory that flits through our minds when it’s 100 degrees, 99% humidity and flat winds.

It’s gotten to 40 degrees here in Northern PA but not for long. Although I have to say it had been a mild February for our area. The last few years it has been around -10 degrees during this time of year. SO, I’m not complaining. Living on top of a mountain means we are above the snow line and when it’s bailing down snow here, the valleys are mostly having rain or mild snow. Makes life interesting.

Consider yourselves lucky.
We got 32 inches of heavy wet snow here yesterday, rain today and 10-15 inches more snow coming tomorrow.
Everyone is rushing around to shovel off their roofs so barns and houses won’t collapse under the heavy weight of this wet snow.

I heard that we’ve now had about 90 consecutive days of below freezing here in SW Iowa, although I’m sure there were 2 days in the past 3 months when the temp reached 32 or 33. Mostly single digit or teen days. But only one really big blizzard in early Dec, and that snow is still with us. Frozen. But the sun still shines!!! :sun:
