    I was going to say the same thing. They have the rooster to run errands and bring them tasty hors’deouvres like worms. :D

    Monday morning staff meeting at Sassafras farm. Preparing for the week ahead by coordinating who’s scratching which area for bugs. Saves in-fighting. Management to provide refreshments -hint – dog food is always welcomed.

    They heard you were going to be gone for the day and planned a hen party. They are now a bit confused by the schedule change.

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia.
