A Picture of A Picture

May

Since I posted the other day with Weston trying on his tux, I knew you’d want to see the big moment when he was dressed to go to the prom with his girlfriend. I wasn’t there. They all spent the day at a friend’s house where all three couples hung out, got dressed, and drove to the prom together. This photo was taken by one of the other moms, and I took a picture of the photo. (Weston also ordered photos taken by the photographer at the prom, but we don’t have those yet.) That’s Weston and his girlfriend on the right. The beautiful green dress she’s wearing was sewn by her mother, who also created a matching tie for Weston. Aren’t they all gorgeous? (They had a great time!)

These couples look so awesome! I couldn’t choose a favorite dress of these three if I were forced! All look great! And the handsome gentlemen? quite dashing.

Weston and his girlfriend looked great. All the kids did. But I have to say that the girlfriends dress I liked the best out of all 3. Its a perfect fit on her. Very class.

Really like Weston’s girl’s dress. Very classic and the green is beautiful. Her mother did a fantastic job. Weston of course is the most handsome of the fellows.

Great picture to post. Very Sweet. It made me tear up — dang hormones! I agree that the green dress is the prettiest and it is the most flattering as well. The others are nice too and they look like a really nice group of kids.

I know you’ve told us before, but I forgot. What kind of camera is it that you use? I tried to look through the posts to find that one…but no luck. Thanks!

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
