Last night, Mariah had a costume ball for her 18th birthday. (Everyone had to come in some kind of period attire.) Her mother is an excellent seamstress, which is why Mariah always has the most amazing dress at every high school dance, but in this case, her mother really outdid herself with an antebellum hoop dress. She also made Weston’s Civil War soldier outfit.
