She escaped. But we had to go move some sheep. And then we had to capture Glory Bee ALL OVER AGAIN.

But she’s locked up now.

I think.

Really, she will be fine. In a few days Glory Bee will let you lead her around the farm. But…she does have Attitude now!

I was glad to see you posted again. I really needed to know how things were when you got back to her.
I am sorry she escaped but of the two options looking at the first photo of her with a slip knot rope on her neck it was the better of the two.
You might want to consider, should you have another calf born, that the halter needs to be put on at about day one. Folks often wait till the little one is two big to train easily.

The lady at the above blog has a fantastic relationship with her cows. You should amble on over to her place and see what she does. I have klearned a lot about cows from her and I don’t even own one!!!

Tomorrow when you go to lead GB, hold the chain (rope?) in your left hand and hold onto her halter between her mouth and eye with your right hand, stand beside her and slowly walk with her. This works a lot better than pulling on the chain and you have more control. Hope you get a good night’s rest. I can hardly wait to see a picture of you leading a happy Glory Bee.
