She escaped. But we had to go move some sheep. And then we had to capture Glory Bee ALL OVER AGAIN.

But she’s locked up now.

I think.

I better go check–

ROFL! If that’s not ATTITUDE in that face I don’t know what is…….

  2. Deb says:

WOW, I think you are going to have your hands full! :bugeyed:

But I know you can do it

  3. jackie c. says:

Whooeee, someone did not enjoy their haltering experience. :hissyfit:
Yay for the human being team.

  4. Yvonne says:

She looks so pitiful! Is that really CHAINS on her?! 😥

  5. Rose H says:

Poor GB, she’s not a happy girl in that photo is she? Strange when you think how us girls love necklaces… :moo:

  6. maryann says:

lol I’m sorry and I hope no children are reading this but that halter and chains look like something used in a certain adult theme.

  7. judydee says:

    Sleep well tonight.

  8. Vicki in So. CA says:

Hey, now you’re in business – halter and everything. So what if it took you twice. YOU DID IT! BP looks concerned, though. Did she moo her head off during the event?

  9. Barbie says:

Really, she will be fine. In a few days Glory Bee will let you lead her around the farm. But…she does have Attitude now!

  10. Marilyn says:

I was glad to see you posted again. I really needed to know how things were when you got back to her.
I am sorry she escaped but of the two options looking at the first photo of her with a slip knot rope on her neck it was the better of the two.
You might want to consider, should you have another calf born, that the halter needs to be put on at about day one. Folks often wait till the little one is two big to train easily.

    OH MY….WHAT A FACE!!!
BP: See, I told you to quit acting up. You’ll get over it!
    Congrats to the haltering team.

  12. Barbee says:

    Oh, she hates that thing!

  13. Angela P says:

I dont know about that chain hanging….Id hate to hear she got hung up on it. Stranger things have been known to happen. Halter good. Chain ???????

The lady at the above blog has a fantastic relationship with her cows. You should amble on over to her place and see what she does. I have klearned a lot about cows from her and I don’t even own one!!!
Glory Bee is so full of attitude. Cute though, very cute!

  15. MJ says:

Anyone who ever lived with a teenager can recognize that expression . . . This, too, shall pass.

  16. Barbie says:

Tomorrow when you go to lead GB, hold the chain (rope?) in your left hand and hold onto her halter between her mouth and eye with your right hand, stand beside her and slowly walk with her. This works a lot better than pulling on the chain and you have more control. Hope you get a good night’s rest. I can hardly wait to see a picture of you leading a happy Glory Bee.

  17. bonita says:

BP: Be careful Your face might freeze like that!

  18. Jane says:

Just the look on her face tells me what a time you must have had getting that halter on her. BP looks glad to have her under control.

  19. ladychef says:

That is the funniest face I have seen in a long time!! She certainly is expressive.THANK GOODNESS for your camera and willingness to share with us! You made my day.

  20. Michelle says:

We’ve got some critter wrestling in our future here too. Two of our three goats needs collars/harnesses and I am completely stumped about how to get them on. :\

  21. Melissa says:

Oh my, she is making a naughty face at you.

  22. Miss Becky says:

Poor Glory Bee. must she be kept in chains? :bugeyed:
