And Then the Power Went Out

After two back-to-back water outages and an internet outage for days, I woke today to a power outage!

Just got my electricity back. I didn’t fire up the generator this morning because they said the power would be back in a few hours and I hate to drag out all the cords and so on unless it’s an extended outage, though it did interfere with getting back to regular posting. Which will resume as of tomorrow!

UNLESS THERE IS A PLAGUE OF LOCUSTS.

Not to worry. We had locusts in 1999, so they’ll be back in 2016. In Roane County. I know they happen other years in other places.

Oh the joys of country life! We live in a semi rural area – constantly losing electricity – often for just a second–but just long enough to kick off the internet! Some days it makes me want to SCREAM!!! Poor cell phone reception too– I think it might because of the high ridge behind our house!

I don’t know about locusts, but it has been raining frogs here . . .

Maybe your streak will end for a while. 😀

Hottest part of the summer we have had yet too! Whew, glad the outage was to long!

The heat is bad here in IL too. Seems everything that is going to fail, will do so when it get this hot. Hope this was the last of the outages for you.

My grandma would say, “Sakes alive!” My mom would say, “Goodness, gracious.” I would say, “xxxxx” and “darn! darn!, yes I would!

Poor You!! If it was me I would have locked myself in a closet by now and screamed my head off! LOL! Hope it gets better soon.

There is an easy answer. Move the HQ of your growing media conglomerate to Pittsburgh. You can travel easily by private jet and helicopter to The Farm when needed. I say private jet because then you can take Maia along.

    (PS Tongue firmly in cheek).

I had to check to make sure the newspaper was not the Onion. I’m very sorry for the loss of life and for general inconvenience. However, I was a bit taken back by the name of the town—Loonyville.
