Flood Season

We had a crazy storm going on over here yesterday. Power went out in about 15 minutes of it starting up and came on late last night. More storms are expected later today, and every day! But hey–it’s NOT SNOWING.

I’m happy.

Same in our area, so much rain!!
The thunder was so bad last night, I sleep in the basement with my “baby” when the weather turn like this, at least that is what I tell Hubby, I dont like it either.
It is clouding up now and I hear some thunder in the offing, so I will probably return to the basement, I want to bake a cake, but I can do that while in the “lower lever”. It appears that this weather will be ongoing for the next 2 days—flood warning are up.

I so agree with the “at least it’s not snow” comment! They’re calling for lots of rain over the next few days here in the Niagara/Buffalo NY area. Most of our humongous piles of snow are gone except these tiny patches here and there. But I’m sure they’ll be gone in another day or so!

Wish it would rain like that here. I’m sick of the never ending drought issue. *sigh* We need to move east!

I had been hoping California would be getting trainloads of those Eastern snow piles . We have plenty of places to put it! It seems like the East coast just never gets over all this extreme weather.

Ouch, is this the new norm? Used to the old days. How are the animals taking the flood? Goats? Do the horses stay away from the water? How do you feed when you have this water? Please do not forget us.
