Flood Video

Video I forgot I’d taken on the day of the flood.

We really had absolutely no idea what was going on in the outside world that day, especially what was happening in nearby Clendenin. We had no power or internet or cell service, and the roads out of here were flooded. We didn’t turn on the generator until the next day, which was the first time we had news.

My Goodness!! We all have heard the news of the flood and saw videos on TV but to see a small creek that runs through you property that we are all familiar with turn into a raging river put a whole new perspective on things. Thank you for posting this, and we are so glad you are all safe and you home is in tact.
I hope all of your readers will help those in need, we all have something to give, even if it is bags of rags like old towels etc. that folks can use to clean, if not donate what you can to those providing help.

So much for your peaceful little creek! The power of water is amazing. Just scary.

Oh. My. Goodness! Thank the powers that be you and yours are all alright! That must have been a little frightening!

The amount of water flowing through your property is mind blowing. At least your red tractor survived being so close to the section that was running quickly. It is hard to imagine what this looked like first hand and this video certainly brings that home. Please keep us posted on Clendenin and their cleanup and rebuilding efforts. Thanks for sharing the video.

We are thankful you are OK. Is your ground across the road any less prone to washing out? Gloria
