I Love People

I advertise the following line about workshops on the farm:

….every workshop at every retreat at the farm will include multiple opportunities throughout the day for attendees to visit with the animals, feed a goat a cookie, pet the horses, and join in farm chores if you choose–collecting eggs, milking Glory Bee, tossing hay, cleaning out the chicken house…. Did I sneak that last one in on you?

That last bit is JUST A JOKE. However, my chicken house WAS dirty, and yesterday, a man attending the wool retreat with his wife DID surprise me by cleaning out my chicken house!!!!

We are having a great time and everyone is excited and learning. I’ll have more photos coming soon!

I’d be sending extra goodies home with that man!!! Do you have a ‘dropping board’ under the roosts? Saves a lot of cleaning!

This is an awesome man- Kelly’s a lucky woman!
Plus, he’s my hero- He got my car out of Suzanne’s driveway on the MOUNTAIN! 😆

We had so much fun and laughter at this retreat- the added bonus was that we learned new skills as well

These smaller retreats are much BETTER than the large ones.

If you’ve been thinking about going to one of these retreats, you need to go- it’s a memory that you’ll never forget and the friends you make will be priceless!

Yep! Sharon is right! I am a lucky gal! Mark was happy to help out.

We are so glad we went to the retreat. We learned so much from Laura and Suzanne and our fellow attendees, got to experience many aspects of farm life and country living, met such nice people, laughed a lot and made good friends!

We have been home almost an entire day now and we have talked about nothing but our experiences at the retreat. It was truly something we are both so glad we did and will look forward to attending again.
