WOW!!! That boy is spoiling you with his toys. Way to go! (Bet he pictures it with a deer carcass across the back!))

  2. lattelady says:

They are so much fun. Have a good time.

  3. bumblebee says:

Wow! That is something you could really use on the farm!!! Cool!! I am happy for both of you! 🙂

Bonita mentioning the deer carcass made me take notice of the racks. Nice rack(s)…hehe, never thought I would ever use that line. Seriously tho, that is going to be so GREAT for hauling smaller stuff and oh the fun those baby’s are! A few years ago when I had four wheelers I couldn’t find a pink helmet…maybe you will be able to find one now?!

I just got back from the field on ours. I take meals to him and transport animals, and in the of seasons we use it to transport hay and anything our little hearts desire. Put a trailer hitch on it and use it to pull a trailer with hay or fencing gear on it. PLEASE be careful the first few times you ride it, they are machines and DON’T respond to whoa. I almost creamed the hill on ours one of the first times I rode it.
    HAVE FUN with it.

That’s a nice ATV and all Suzanne, but where the heck is Maia supposed to sit? Sidecar maybe? 😀

  7. Lana says:

You are just having way too much fun!! You go, girl! You have worked awfully hard to get to where you are, and you deserve it!

  8. Lana says:

I think I used up the national allotment for exclamation points in just three sentences! (There I go again!) To me, a sentence without an exclamation point is like talking with my hands tied behind my back!

You will love this thing. I’ve had a Honda for over 10 years now, looks a lot like yours. I can not imagine my life without it. Seriously, it’s the most useful thing I’ve ever owned. My front rack has a plastic milk crate held on with bungee cords. I tote stuff to and from the garden, run back and forth between the barn and the house, you name it. Check fence, look at the pond, bring better half cool drink, tons of stuff. I know a lot of folks like the bigger version, gators or mules, but they can not go the places yours will. I don’t wear a helmet, but I do not go at all fast on mine (or on the road). I will caution you about getting burned as I know you wear shorts. The first time I rode for more than a couple of hours, I bumped up against the motor with my calf. Nasty burn. I keep mine serviced, I think that’s why it’s lasted so long. And I don’t play in the mud. Let me put it this way, if my clothes dryer and my four wheeler croaked at the same time and I could only afford to replace one of the two, I’d pick the four wheeler.

I agree with Kathy. Our Honda Ranchers are tools we use multiple times a day on the farm. We built a small shelter next to the house so they are always dry and handy for a run to the barns, garden or to patrol the property. Yours would be perfect to haul milking stuff back and forth from the barn to the house. Hay bales fit perfectly on the racks too. I can’t imagine not having one now. When the weather is really bad and icy there is hardly any where you can’t go with a set of chains. Hay bales fit perfectly on the rack.

Cool farm tool, but please don’t let anyone use it other than the back woods work horse it is. Around here I see too many of them on public roads driven hell-bent by kids who do not seem to understand the physics of riding one, and who, to boot, are not wearing a helmet.

    Hooray! :shimmy: :woof: :happyflower:
