I am so sorry for you. It is a beautiful Spring day here in Northern CA. The mower is running and the sky is blue! Can hardly believe it. I keep looking over my shoulder. Looks like a fun job coming up, shearing Mr. Cotswold. It really is work. You tell yourself it is fun to make yourelf feel better.

I think the southwest part of the country sucked all the heat out the northeast part. Here in SoCal, we went straight from “Ah, warm at last” (yesterday) to “Ack, too hot, too hot!” (today). It’s 85° here at the beach, and I’ve already fixed three kinds of salad for dinner.

  5. Luann says:

Mr. Cotswold is so darn cute tho….unlike this nasty snow….

  6. Janice Beall says:

I must agree, what’s up with April in like a lion. Western MD has had a little of everything. But what a beautiful face!

  7. Kristen E says:

Here’s a question I’ve been wondering about: what do you do with the fleeces from your sheep? I’m a spinner and knitter, which is why I’m curious. 😉

  8. Lindsay says:

SNOWING?! Eugh! You’re supposed to be enjoying your beautiful green spring! With ramps and whatnot. Bummer. We had torrential downpours for the past three days. Flooded the street right next to our house and we’re lucky we aren’t underwater. Apparently there was even a tornado a little south of here.

That Mr. Cotswold is just the handsomest guy! Maybe he’s such a grouch because he KNOWS he’s so handsome. I hope your spring comes soon!

We have a new season this year called Sprinter! One day it’s Spring the next day it’s winter, AGAIN!

Mr Cotswold move over and let Annabelle into the picture, WV needs more sunshine. Hes such a cutie though.

We had some sun here in NW Oregon yesterday, but it is 58 degrees today so I’m a thinkin its a gonna to be rainin today. The lambs been walking in 6 inch deep mud since the freeze went away here. Summer’ll make it don’t be a worrin.

  11. Mary says:

Around here it’s always been that March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lion. The past two years, not so. All those stormy blasts pretty much passed us by.

  12. Cousin Sheryl says:

Suzanne, you are forgetting that March 1st was a LAMB of a day, sunny and mild (no precipitation) Sooooooo, that means it had to go out like the lion!

Smile, it will be Triple-HHH around here soon enough (hazy, hot and humid)!

Ahh! I’ve been snipping the coats off our little flock of sheep all week so looking at that picture is making me want to go for my shears and attack! LOL! We didn’t get the best fleeces this year, but my, his looks lovely!

Well, I’m off to wash my fleeces! :sheepjump:

Suzanne, I think I figured it out: Spring wants to give you a little more time to complete your winter project. Weren’t you working on crocheting a couple of baby blankets that have to be completed by July? We haven’t had an update for while, so I’m thinking maybe there’s still a bit to be done before you get too busy with Spring chores. 😉

  15. Kim says:

It snowed here too- nice April Fool’s joke-NOT! And our snow was pretty much gone too, crocuses up…and now it’s all covered in white stuff. Yuck.

  16. Diane says:

Oh, that’s where it went. Upstate New York was supposed to get that snow last night, but it never showed up. I guess you got it. Sorry about that. We were within three inches of making it into the record books for the 10th snowiest winter.

  17. Julia says:

We finally have received nice weather the last two days. 80Ëš yesterday and 74Ëš today. We had our share of snow in the Sierras, 61″ the news said for this winter. I am glad for the warm weather. Hope it lasts.
