Yesterday evening (Day 22) and BP was alone as she enjoyed her dinner in an old tub at Skip’s farm. Alone, other than that rascally Glory Bee Beeeeeeeeee. NO BULL.

Crossing fingers.

She needs a flower again! I just loved it when you did it.
I have my fingers crossed for you.

I am keeping my fingers crossed too!

My Willow calved after dark last night and I still don’t know what she had!

She is an amazing cow….I never even knew she was in heat but one of the bulls was inside her pasture with her one morning. So I made the assumption she was bred. I figured she would be due 7/29 and dried her accordingly. This is her third calf since we got her all born the last week of July.

I got her up yesterday because she had a very sore foot and I wanted to give her a shot. I saw her udder was getting larger, but not huge and no other signs.

I expect Ms Beulah Petunia’s second encounter with Mr Bull was a
success! Look out Glory Bee mama’s gonna have some competition for you! I bet everybody will be glad to have the vacationers home.

Here’s hoping that there are a couple of new calves in your future. But what will you do if you get two more like GB?

  6. TinaBell says:

I love her face! I’d like to see a tighter shot, I just think she’s the most beautiful cow…

  7. Liz Pike says:

Fingers crossed she took and you won’t have to milk during the winter!!

  8. Ms.Becky says:

I could be mistaken but Suzanne I think what tribalcime is referring to is a Chickens In The Road badge, or widget, to put on her own blog, as an link to here. it would be your website’s name with a logo or photo. I don’t see one in your sidebar.
anyway, I love love love that photo of Glory Bee Beeeeeee standing next to her mum and checking you out!
