I updated my Foolproof Pie Crust recipe page yesterday, adding a note about how to make pie crust scraps. In case there is anyone in the world who doesn’t already know how. I love pie crust scraps. You?

My Mom used to roll out the scraps, spread with butter, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon and roll up. Chill in the freezer briefly then cut the log in slices and bake the “pinwheels”. Yummmmmmm.

Basically your pie scrap recipe, only folded over like a fried pie with out initials poked on it with a tootpick.
Since today’s the first day of Fall over here in Korea & I’ve taken the day off…I might just add sugar pies to my list of things to bake to celebrate the coming of Fall.
