Real Housewives of Stringtown Rising

Get ready for the feistiest batch of housewives yet! Bravo has revealed the cast of Real Housewives of Stringtown Rising.

The network showed off their five latest stars early Friday.

Beulah Petunia is the biggest mommy in the bunch. A single mom to more children than she can remember, she’s currently raising her latest baby, Glory Bee. The busy working mom runs a dairy factory. She’s not above stepping on the other wives if there’s food involved.

Clover, known as Granny Nanny since her daughter, Nutmeg, gave birth recently, is the real firebrand of the group. She prefers to call herself Goat Yard Barbie and has a predilection for cookies, which has gotten her into trouble–or embarrassing outfits–on more than one occasion.

Fanta is a fun-loving single mom of twin girls and is currently running a daycare in her home. She considers herself the perfect mother and isn’t above criticizing the rest. Or taking their babies.

Sprite is a young mother who once hoped to join a nunnery. Jailed after abandoning her newborn child, she’s on the road to recovery and redemption. Or at least that’s the word according to her publicist.

Nutmeg has already been voted most likely to get into a catfight. Also a new single mom, her head-butting temper gets her in trouble with her friends on a regular basis. She’s known to hide out–or call her mother–when things get too hot.

The network already has the first taping in the can and it’s expected to air in early March.

Unless somebody eats it first.

I have to admit that I watch the Housewives series on Bravo, and I must say the Housewives of Stringtown are, in my opinion, far the more attractive, even the south end of Jack when he is going north is nicer to look at, at least we are seeing the real thing.
No face lifts, breast implants, botox, fillers or hair weaves, all so natural, just goes to show you that natural beauty is best and it abounds in Stringstown—-Housewives of Bravo, take notice!!

  8. Southern MN Gal says:

I would totally set my DVR for that program! :snoopy:

  9. 4jsMOM says:

This would be better than any of the ‘real’ Real Housewives shows…and I’d rather watch it.

  12. judydee says:

I must confess, I’ve never seen a “real housewives” program, but I believe this one is probably closer to “real” than any of the others. I too am looking forward to the next episode.

  13. whaledancer says:

  22. Anna says:

Okay, sometime ago you took a survey about whether people would buy a book you had written about the farm and what kind: recipes, animal stories, etc. I didn’t participate but I can tell you my preference would be your animal/farm stories. HANDS DOWN. I think you could rival Herriot. Not only do I laugh when I first read them, I laugh again when I read them out loud to my husband. Your love for the animals and your life with them is almost palpable.
Sprite’s and Petunia’s description are my favorite.

  23. Window On The Prairie says:

Now this would be a Real Housewives that I would watch. Sprite would be my favorite character. I like it that she’s seeking redemption. Doesn’t she just look all innocent?

  24. WiccanMam says:

Perfect..absolutely wonderful! Thanks for an evening smirkle, snort, totally out loud giggle session..PeAcE

How in the world do you get your animals to look into the camera? I can’t get my dogs to stand still to take a picture!! Love your zingers at the end of your stories!

  28. Samantha Cornwell says:

  36. Madeline says:

I am sorta partial to Clover.

  37. lavenderblue says:

I use a second-hand percolator coffee pot to make my coffee. I fix the pot, put it on the burner on high to get it started, then come into the living room to read “Chickens in the Road” until it is time to turn down the pot for a nice slow perk. Except, except sometimes I get so busy reading all the cute, funny, crafty, sweet, practical stuff on this blog that I forget about the coffee pot. Then I drink over boiled coffee. Yep! Did it again today.

Oh well, keep writing like this and I’ll make the sacrifice.

P.S. The only time I’ve ever seen any of the “Real” Housewives is when they were on “Ghost Hunters”. What an awful confession.

  38. brookdale says:

This just popped up on “More Posts You Might Enjoy”…It is my favorite picture of BP. How appropriate that you wrote about her today.
