Interesting, because our ginger cat is the same way about dogs. He is a sweet cat, but prefers the dogs. Ours, however, will not allow him to cuddle.

As long as the dogs have an uncommon affection for cats, Kitten’s ok!

Awww wish our dogs would let a cat do that but I think the poor thing would live in fear for it’s life in our house. And they’re only Shih Tzu’s!!!

i have an orange cat that was a hand raised orphan. He believes he is one of the dogs (I have 4) and has a special attachment to my smallest dog “Ernie”. Every evening they have a grooming ritual that so over the top, face and ear cleaning that goes on forever…
Really funny and really gross……I think the other dogs are embarassed!

I just love piles of furry creatures having a snooze together. Wish I could curl up with them!

My cat and dog wage battles and wars in our house. I was hoping that my 3 yr old adopted black cat and young dog would be friends, but I think detente is all I can hope for. The cat has gotten bolder and now challenges the dog daily. He lopes around the house in the other direction to try and catch her. But he never had a chance because she’s way smarter than he is.

I think our dog has imprinted on a cat we had. He LOVES cats. He even grooms himself like one and meows when he’s upset!

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
