This ornamental pear tree is in my side yard near my back porch. It’s a pretty little tree, and a late-comer to the autumn parade, all dressed up and left behind by the others!

She’s just shy. She’s waited for the others to leave so she can pirouette all alone across the yard and not be made fun of by the other, grander trees.

We have one also, a Cleveland Pear, and I love that it shows it’s colors after all of the other trees have faded and dropped their leaves.

Very pretty! Does it have pears on it that you can eat (or can)?

Your photo and Darlene’s explanation make a great duo.

How beautiful! Our leaves have been gone for months (central Alberta)…you are very blessed.
