The Soap Mold/Cutter

This is the first in a series of occasional posts I’ll be doing to highlight various things we’ll be doing at the CITR Retreat 2011. In the photo, you see the beautiful and ingenious combination soap mold/cutter designed by CindyP. CindyP will be leading hard and liquid soapmaking classes at the retreat, and in the woodworking classes attendees will have the opportunity to build their own soap mold/cutter. All the parts will be provided and attendees will assemble their own soap mold/cutter with in-class guidance and assistance–and take it home with them! (This is all included in the price of the retreat.) I have one of these soap mold/cutters myself and it is wonderful. You can pour your soap in it as a mold then cut it–in the same device! I love it.

The newest one has been redesigned a little bit — no more black plastic knee straps (stolen off of SO roofing knee pads!) LOL!

Almost looks Gothic. I really enjoy your page.

That soap cutter is really neat. Wish I could attend but I am in California. I have learned a lot already from CITR!

This is really cool. I think you could sell these. I would buy one.

Suzanne – The link is wrong to Cindy’s website–should be https://www.ourlifesimplified.com

I LOVE your website! Wish I’d have found it when I still lived in Elkview!

I registered and I am excited that this is one of the projects. I was at the last CITR party and got to see working.
