Well, no baby yet!

In fact, Beulah Petunia seems pretty unconcerned.

But me and the boys? (Eclipse, at the fence.)

We are pretty pumped up! This is the most exciting thing that’s happened since Clover had her babies. Or since Poky came to town. Or since the chickens started laying eggs!
Maybe we are a little excitable around here.
If you want to make guesses here between now and the end of time about when BP is going to have her calf, I will send a BBB to the winner with the closest guess. (Date and time of the winning guess will be the date and time I discover the calf, as I may not know or be present at the birth!)
NOTE: I just posted a bunch of photos of BP yesterday here, from all the handy angles. Sorry, I assumed you all had seen that! If you’ve already guessed and hadn’t seen the photos in that post, you can change your guess if you want!

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
