This is a sweet/sour dressing. Very good!
Servings: about 25Prep Time: 20 mins. Cook Time: 2 mins.
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. dry mustard
2 tsp. celery seed or ground celery seed
2 Tbsp. grated onion
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
2 cups Mazola oil (I use 1/2 olive oil)
Put all ingredients into the top of a double boiler. Put boiler in a bowl of quite warm water till it gets to less than blood warmth, being careful not to overheat it which would cause it not to thicken properly. Remove and beat with a rotary beater until thick. Put in a bottle and refrigerate. Shake before using.
