Delicious. We make quadruple batches of this when the basil is at it’s peak and then freeze and enjoy pesto all winter long.
Servings: 1/2 cupPrep Time: 15 minutes
1/3 cup olive oil
1/4 cup grated Parmesan/Romano cheese
1/4 cup fresh parsley
1 clove garlic
1/2 cup fresh basil
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Blend basil, parsley, garlic, seasonings and cheese in food processor until well mixed. Gradually add oil thru opening on top of food processor. Blend until smooth.
